The Lebanese STEAM Teaching Competition 2025 celebrates educators, showcasing innovation, best practices, and collaboration to advance STEAM education in Lebanon.
Overview
This initiative aligns with the international efforts and the CRDP’s new curriculum framework, which adopts the STEAM approach. It aims to establish a platform where Lebanese educators can showcase their achievements, submit innovative lesson plans.
Objectives

Promoting innovation in STEAM education

Recognizing outstanding STEAM educators

Fostering student creativity and problem-solving

Encouraging collaboration among teachers

Highlighting Lebanon’s global STEAM contributions
Eligibility

✔ Primary, middle, and secondary school educators in Lebanon.
✔ Evidence of the implementation of STEAM approaches in their teaching.

Applicants may apply:
✔ Team of up to three teachers

Call for Submissions | April 3 – May 31, 2025 | Educators submit their project through the official website. Free online webinars and workshops on STEAM education. |
Shortlisting & Public Showcasing | June 1 – June 20, 2025 | Selected lesson plans are featured online, allowing for peer reviews and discussions. |
Final Judging | June 21 – July 5, 2025 | A panel of experts evaluates submissions based on innovation, impact, and scalability. |
Final Ceremony | July 11, 2025 | Winner announcements and awards distribution at MaliaTec. |

Awards and Prizes
Best Interdisciplinary Approach Award
VR MetaQuest headset including the immersive learning application EDUVENTURE, featuring a variety of virtual lessons across multiple domains, provided by EDUVENTURE.

STEAM Excellence Award
A fully covered trip to the BETT London exhibition in the UK, provided by the Edtech Syndicate in Lebanon.


Best Technology Integration Award
Equipping a specialized educational lab with resources worth $1500, provided by Electroslab, redeemable in their store.

STEAM Inclusion Award
PuzzBlocks coding for special needs provided by the Association Libanaise Francophone des Sciences Techniques.
50% scholarship on Teaching Diploma provided by Arab Open University (AOU).


Community Impact Award
3D Printer provided by 3D cube.
50% scholarship on Teaching Diploma provided by Arab Open University (AOU).


Student Engagement Award
ActivExpression: AÂ fully equipped kit with LRSA assessment and evaluation devices for an entire class (32 devices) provided by the Interactive Educational Technology Company (iET).

Additional Awards for Winners
In addition to their main prizes, our six winners will receive:
- A Fully Funded Scholarship to complete the STEM.org International Certified Trainer Program, provided by STEM.ORG.
- A Car Tracking System with a one-year subscription, provided by MALIATEC.


Shortlisting Prizes
Candidates who make it to the shortlist will receive:
- ESET Anti-virus License
- A 25% Scholarship for their teacher to use toward any major of their choice, provided by Lebanese German University (LGU).


All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for the professional development workshops.
